yayyyy!!!! I'm finally back in singapore after a trip 2 malaysia. we set off to malaysia at about 8.00a.m. last saturday morning and the journey took a whole 2 hours to reach malacca.
i was sleeping 90 per cent of the time... okey dokey.
b4 we checked in into the hotel we were staying in, we went 4 lunch at the famous chicken rice ball stall(go 2 berwyn 4 details, he knows all bout it)
After filling our tummies, we went up 2 our hotel room. it was on the eighteenth floor so we had quite a good view of the city.
we napped 4 about an hour or so an headed 4 Jonker street after tat.
we had dinner at a make-shift hawker center. my dad and i had wanton mee( which was infested wif dead flies... grossss) and my bro had fried kway teow which was a wee bit too chewy 4 my liking.
my mum had some nasi lemak and we also ordered some otah which was pathetically small and flat. wasnt tat tasty either!!
we strolled at the nearby night market and i wanted 2 buy a gay-sao fan but my father said that i looked veri 'aunty' holding it. the night market was much bigger and better as compared to our pasar malam. there were many stalls selling handicrafts and display items.
anyway adults always win.
the next day, we headed 4 sunway lagoon, a theme park near kuala lumpur. we went 2 the dry theme park first b4 going 2 the water theme park.
the maitenance there was sooooo poor cos the water in the pool was damn murky!!!
andway, the water slides were uber thrilling. there was the float slide and the water mat slide.
the water mat slide was the best as it was the fastest. after the funzzz, we had some fried chicken for a snack and we headed 4 din din.
upon reaching the restaurant we planned 2 dine in, we had a "wonderful surprise"
ALL THE TABLES IN THE RESTAURANT WERE RESERVED!!!!!!!!!
argghhhh!!! feel like killing the one who booked the tables cos we took 40 mins 2 get there.
